Goodman Specialized Vehicles is a member of The Goodman Group of companies, with brothers Charles Goodman, Jr. and Clem Goodman as the current owners.

The Goodman Group began on December 1, 1951 with Goodman Truck & Tractor Co., Inc., an International truck dealership.

Over the years, we at Goodman Truck & Tractor formulated and cultivated relationships with many fire apparatus and ambulance users.

To this end, we felt that the formation of Goodman Specialized Vehicles and the acquisition of the PL Custom, Rescue 1, Smeal, Spartan and Miller Coach dealership contracts were a logical addition to our product offerings, one that would benefit both our dealership and our customers and partners. When added to our existing truck/engine/transmission/drive train/tire contracts, this allows us to be a one-stop-shop in handling our customers' needs.
